ASFS No Place for Hate Program

Sign the Pledge!

ASFS Families, join ASFS Staff and Students as we sign the pledge and commit to being No Place for Hate:

No Place for Hate Family Quilt Square Template (PowerPoint Version)

Each student and staff member at ASFS is in the process of signing the following pledge as part of our district’s effort to become No Place for Hate:

I promise to do my best to treat everyone fairly.
I promise to do my best to be kind to everyone—even if they are not like me.
If I see someone being hurt or bullied, I will tell a teacher.
I will help others to feel safe and happy at school. I will be part of making my school No Place for Hate.

To sign this pledge, each member of our school community has created a quilt square that includes the pledge language, member signature, and role.  Many members also used their squares to articulate their vision for ASFS as No Place for Hate and their reasons for signing.  These pledges are being turned into physical and virtual “quilts” that can be displayed throughout our learning environments as a reminder of our commitment to a stronger community and better world.

Now, we are inviting all of our ASFS families to create one quilt square per family in hopes that you'll begin these challenging discussions at home as well and commit to this effort with us!

To create your family’s quilt square, use the No Place for Hate Family Quilt Square Template (PowerPoint Version).
